While we were in the States for Christmas, Steve and I dug up some dirt for the artist, Jasmine Pignatelli. At her request, I made two short videos of the action with a registration of our respective GPS locations. We went to Chancellorsville Battlefield, where Steve’s father and mother are buried, so he could grab some frozen earth beside their gravemarkers. I decided to dig under some freshly fallen snow near my parent’s well in Maidens, VA.
